Adam Mitchell started in the powder coating business as a high school job. Later, when he moved to Indiana to race sprint cars, he learned the same process using liquid paint. Back home, he realized that California is better suited to the environmentally friendly powder coating process, so he and his Dad decided to engage their entrepreneurial spirit and build their own shop.

One-by-one, customers returned and word-of-mouth became the best sales force they had. After 23 years, Electro Tech has become the go-to powder coating provider in San Diego County.
